The human shoulder did not evolve as a weight-bearing joint. But when we go upside down in yoga, we ask it to do just that—to support our weight.

Learn the anatomy of the shoulder so that you understand how to organize this region in inverted yoga poses. We’ll start with a short anatomy lesson, followed by an asana practice focused on inversions.

This workshop will help you feel more confident, strong, and stable in upside down yoga poses.
