Learn anatomy through self-massage with balls. As the balls roll out kinks and stress, they’ll help you identify and locate the structures they’re passing over. You’ll learn how the muscles you’re rolling can create some yoga shapes and resist others. You’ll discover the body’s inherent interconnectedness--no muscle exists in isolation! You’ll gain a new means to “open” a body area. (Classic stretching is only one method.) Students new to anatomy will glean a baseline understanding of the physical body. Movement teachers who’ve had some introduction to human anatomy will refresh and deepen their knowledge. This workshop will illuminate your yoga practice and clarify your teaching.
